Hi, I’m Johnny, founder of Mobile RV Repair Pros. My journey into RV repair started on the road—literally. During years of full-time RV travel with my wife and our two Maltese dogs, we once lost power at a campground somewhere in Texas. Despite my 12-year background as a Marine Corps heavy equipment and small boat mechanic, I couldn’t figure out the problem. We had to call a mobile RV repairman, who discovered it was as simple as a converter coming unplugged. After paying over $200 for such a simple fix, I realized how much I had to learn about RVs—and decided to dive in.

I completed training at an RV Technician School in South Florida and have spent the past four years hands-on repairing RVs, combined with five years of full-time RV living. Prior to RVs, I served 12 years in the United States Marine Corps and spent 16 years in underwater welding, construction, and deep-sea saturation diving. My military and technical background gave me a strong sense of integrity, attention to detail, reliability and great deal of safety—qualities I bring to every job.

At Mobile RV Repair Pros, my mission is simple: teach RV owners about their vehicles while providing honest, professional repairs. I specialize in:

  • Air conditioning repair, replacement, and diagnostics
  • Plumbing repairs, including blackwater and greywater systems
  • Pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
  • Electrical system diagnostics
  • Awning repairs
  • Water heater maintenance and repair

I work on all types of RVs, including Class A, B, C, travel trailers, fifth wheels, pop-ups, and horse camper trailers. I primarily provide mobile service within a 40–50 mile radius of Milton, Florida (covering Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties), and will travel further for certain situations, including Foley, Alabama. For more complex work, I also have a shop available to complete repairs efficiently and without distractions.

What sets me apart? Beyond my technical expertise and full-time RV experience, I prioritize education, honesty, and accessibility. I take the time to teach clients how to prevent future issues, follow up after every job, and am always available if you need advice or support. I guarantee my work and treat every customer with respect, transparency, and reliability—because your RV and your peace of mind matter.

When I’m not repairing RVs and working on my new RV PlayBook, my wife and I still love to hit the road with our fifth wheel whenever possible, so I truly understand the joys—and challenges—of RV life. I’m patient to a fault, love to teach, extremely friendly, and pride myself on honesty and reliability.
